Plastic Cards and Barcode Readers

Do I need to buy special cards to use StickyStreet?
No. You do not need plastic cards for StickyStreet. You only need to provide a unique identifier for each client or customer.

I already have cards, can I use those?
You can use your current gift or loyalty cards, as long as they are individually numbered, barcoded, mag stripe, or have any other kind of unique identifier.

I don't have cards - does StickyStreet sell them?
No, we're not in the business of plastic cards, and StickyStreet doesn't need them.  Having said that, cards are really effective marketing tools for most any gift or loyalty program.  Therefore we we scoured every corner of the Earth to find great quality cards, with awesome personal support, low print volume (like starting with 250 cards, not 25,000) and best of all, probably the best prices around. Do I need a barcode reader?
No. StickyStreet does not require any additional equipment, however if you have a barcode reader and bar-coded cards, it will make using StickyStreet easier and, well, more rewarding. Get the joke? Clever huh?

Can I use cards with a magnetic stripe?
Yes. Most commercial mag-stripe readers will read the magnetic stripe on a card and automatically send the information as if it was a keyboard entry. Just make sure that your cards are encoded with only the card number, and no other information (such as customer name, etc.)
