Pre-Paid Items
Sell pre-paid packages of items such as lunches, coffees, massages etc. Why would you do that? 1) You have sales money up front, and 2) most likely taken business away from your competitors. (Remember, money not in your competitors' till is just as good for your business as money in your till is). You might even go so far as not care if 5 people in their office all order 1 lunch each all on one day. Can you start seeing the possibilities? Thanks to Kane for this program Idea!

Setup:
To setup this type of loyalty program, select the "Event-Based Program" choice when creating a new campaign.
How to set it up: - Add a new campaign from the control panel (The first screen after you log-in.
- Select "Event-Based Program" from the list of campaigns.
- On the congratulations screen, click on "Take Me There" to set up your reward levels.
- Click the "Add a Reward Level" button to add a reward level. Enter in "1" for "Number of Events" that will be needed to claim that "reward", and then enter in a description for the item you want to offer. For example:
- "1 Sandwich and 1 Drink" - "Cup of Coffee" - "Massage" When done, click the "Add" button.
- Do this only once, unless each item is of equal value. For example, if "1 Sandwich and 1 Drink" is the same value as "1 Premium Sandwich". If you have several items of different values that can be combined into a pre-paid package, use the similar "Membership Program" idea.
How to use it:
When a customer purchases a pre-paid package, such as "The 5-Lunch Deal" or the "6 Massages Gift Set", pull up (or add) their account, and click on the "Record Event" button for as many times as the quantity of items purchased. So in the examples above, you would click five times for the "5-Lunch Deal" or 6 times for the "6 Massage Gift Set. This will leave their account with a positive balance.
Now, when that customer comes back and wants to get one of their "items" (Lunch, massage, etc.) you use the "Redeem" button to remove an event from their balance. So for example, the 5 Lunches will then have a balance of only 4, and so one, until the balance is 0.
- A customer can always add more "items" to their balance. For example, if the person who has the "6 Massage Gift Set" has used up 4 of their massages and then wants to pre-pay for another 5 to take advantage of some promotion you're running, then you can just add those 5 new "Events" (items, or in this case, massages) and that customer now has a balance of 7 massages. And you have payment for those in the bank earning interest, and the knowledge that the customer won't be going to your competitor.
