Requirements to Use StickyStreet Do I need a computer? Yes, you do need a computer to use StickyStreet. Since you also need to access the Internet to use StickyStreet, a computer with an Internet connection and a modern browser is necessary. Do I need Internet access? Yes, you need an internet connection to be able to use StickyStreet. You could get by with Dial-up, but we recommend an always-on connection, such as DSL, Cable, or ISDN. Do I need any additional software? No. As long as you have an Internet connection and Safari, Internet Explorer, FireFox, Opera, or any other standards-compliant Web browser, you can use StickyStreet.
Do I need any additional hardware? Only a computer with an internet connection, which you already have seeing as you're reading this. Bar-code scanners are not necessary unless you want to use physical cards with long codes, in which case they could save you a lot of squinting and typing. If you want to use mag-stripe cards, then a mag-stripe readers will be necessary to read them, unless you have that much taunted X-Ray vision those comic books keep talking about. Will this work on my Mac? Yes, StickyStreet is browser-based and standard-compliant, so it doesn't matter if you have a Mac, PC, any flavor of Unix, or any other operating system, as long as you have access to the and have a modern browser.
